Los Angeles was an important city in Elmer McCurdy’s mummified “life” as he spent a significant length of time here while being exhibited at various locations including theaters, sideshows, carnivals, a crime museum and fun houses both in Los Angeles and throughout the country. In later years, his mummy was kept in a storage facility a few short blocks away from this museum’s very location. We are pleased to welcome visitors to what we feel is the ideal site for the World’s only Elmer McCurdy Museum.

We welcome one and all to the Elmer McCurdy Museum in Los Angeles. Admission to the museum is FREE but requires advance reservations made by email only. Visiting availability is subject to the museum’s scheduled days and hours of operation. The Elmer McCurdy Museum and The Gallery of Sideshow Attractions are all included in the same day admission.
